CPAP Therapy Equipment

We offer you the latest CPAP / APAP/ Bi-Level machines to help you get a better sleep!

How should I care and maintain my sleep equipment?

Rinse your mask, circuit and water tub on a daily basis, allow to air dry, you may add mild soap. Once weekly, wash mask, headgear, circuit and water pot in warm water with mild dish soap. Rinse well and allow to air dry. If mineral deposits appear in the water tub, use 1 part water / 1 part vinegar, let sit for 15-20 minutes, wipe out and rinse well.

Check external filter monthly, getting rid of dust and debris that may appear and replace every 6 months

When should I follow up with my respiratory provider about my CPAP therapy?

If you feel like your sleep quality has changed or you would like to review your sleep therapy you may request a follow-up appointment with a Respiratory Therapist at any time by contacting our office.

CPAP/BiPAP Masks

Your mask is one of the most important components of your equipment.  It consists of three parts: frame, cushion, and headgear.  There are several different types of masks, including full-face options and nasal only.  The right mask can make your therapy more comfortable and successful, so it is important to find the one that is best for you. North Cair stocks a large variety of masks and has ability to order in one not stocked. Please contact us for more information.

CPAP/BiPAP Components

There are three main components you’ll need to keep your CPAP/BiPAP therapy comfortable and effective. These include:

  • Air Filters
Air filters play a crucial role in CPAP/BiPAP therapy by filtering out dust, pollen, pet dander, and other airborne particles from the air entering your machine. This ensures that you breathe in clean air during therapy, reducing the risk of respiratory issues and allergies.
  • Humidifier Tub
The humidifier tub holds water that is heated and turned into humidified air by the CPAP/BiPAP machine. Humidification adds moisture to the airflow, preventing dryness and irritation in the airways, throat, and nasal passages commonly experienced during therapy.
  • Air Tubing
The air tubing connects the CPAP/BiPAP machine to the mask, allowing the pressurized air generated by the machine to reach the user’s airway. It serves as a conduit for delivering the therapy air from the device to the mask.

Please contact us for all of these produces for your CPAP/BiPAP unit.
